Our well-trained and dedicated staff, procure and supply our customer's fastener requirements. As well as offering a full range of standard fasteners, we specialise in the sourcing of the unusual, unavailable and special fasteners, that many of our competitors consider unobtainable. We are one of the market leaders in supplying original equipment manufactures, using some of the latest delivery technology i.e. Bar Coded Direct Line Feed delivery systems.

Acorn Fasteners Ltd. was founded in the 1970's. The objectives set by the directors then was to service the needs of local and national original equipment manufacturers with threaded fasteners.

As the 1980's progressed the company's reputation for quality and personal attention strengthened and established it as a force within the industry to such an extent that a move to a larger warehouse facility was made. Due to the steady increase in business from 1993 onwards even larger premises became necessary and in January of 1996 the move to the present location was completed. The company is now in a position to expand its activities further on both the domestic and export market. In 1992 a decision was taken to achieve an approval for the company to B.S.5750. This was achieved under the latest level of B.S. EN ISO 9001:2000. The company is rightly proud of this approval which represents a major achievement and fully demonstrates a commitment to providing a quality service to its customers.

The company also has considerable experience in the operation of direct line feed & consignment stock delivery systems and is exploring further ways to enhance this type of supply. E.D.I. bar coding and other supply data interchanges are also being researched and we welcome discussions with interested parties on these techniques.
